Wine By The Glass
Before starting this blog I typically got my wine from grocery stores and stuck to those that I had already tried or were recommended to me. This was because I have a hard time spending a good amount of money on wine I haven’t tried before. What if it was awful, yet, I just spent $30+ on it? Because of this I loved trying flights at restaurants or going wine tasting. That was the only way I could try a variety of new wines without buying an entire bottle first. Well, that was before I stumbled upon Vinebox. Vinebox is a wine club where you are sent three new wines BY THE GLASS. How cool is that? Now I will get to try wines from all over the world without having to purchase the entire bottle(s) first…which heaven knows that can get expensive.
This months box was an assortment of French wines. Two from Chatuea Ricardelle and one from Vignoble Delacour. Again, HOW COOL IS THIS? I tried three wines that I would never have been able to try before! I am now able to explore wines from regions that I have never tried before (or even heard of lol) and try all new varietals! The wine geek in me is BEYOND EXCITED. Did I mention that the box comes with information and tasting notes for each wine?! LOVE IT.
I have been asked if I like the wines that are being sent and if I get to choose what is sent. No, with this wine club you do not select the wine that is sent to you. However, their are different membership/price options to choose from. Thusfar, I am LOVING the wines that were in my first box. I will keep you updated on subsequent shipments and if I am still loving what is being sent to me. So, in conclusion, yes I love the quality at their price point ($30/box).
Let me know if you give Vinebox a try. I would like to get your thoughts.
